  1. Dave was ALWAYS, ALWAYS – kind, helpful and extremely accommodating! When we left Grayslake, if I was driving through and noticed lots of cars, I could call and ask and he’d always respond. And, he had a great sense of humor – which accepted my kind of twisted humor in stride. I’ve missed talking with him the last few years when I have stopped in for other visitation. Regrettably, distance and other commitments must take precedence over a trip to Grayslake this weekend. Thank you for all you did for so many of us in difficult times of need.

  2. So sorry to hear about the loss of David. He was a good man, and well liked and respected by many. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time.

  3. My deepest sympathy to the entire Strang Family. Dave’s kindness, thoughtfulness and his professionalism will always be remembered by my family and friends for the many years of service that he has given to all that have lost loved ones. There is a special place waiting for him to join the hearts of many. He will always be remembered and loved by many. Rest in peace, Dave, and God Bless you.

  4. I am deeply saddened to hear of Dave’s passing. He was a true to heart man, kind and compassionate. These qualities Dave possessed and applied to me personally, were qualities most definitely to aspire to. I’m quite sure he is rejoicing with The Lord, whom he spoke of with high regard and humility. May God bring comfort to all those who were touched by Dave’s life.

  5. We can only repeat what others in the Grayslake community have already expressed. Dave had the unique qualities that if exemplified by the world, could arouse peace, kindness, and love in perpetuity to the entire world. He was an outstanding example of what goodness truly means. He always extended himself to others in ways of compassion and service as they trodded through the anguishing pains of loss. May the Lord look kindly upon this gentle man and grant him everlasting life in His Kingdom.

  6. Though I only knew Dave through reputation, I can recognize that the community lost a wonderful member today. I know Dave will be missed by many, but the warm thoughts and memories he leaves behind will be held forever in the heart of Grayslake. Rest in Peace.
