Obituary's Biography:

Betty June (nee: Getty) (nee: Eide) Ruda, a resident of Lake Villa, passed away Wednesday February 13, 2013 at the age of 80. She was born June 1, 1932 in Troy, MO to Roger Carl Getty and Verna Groce. Betty loved the Lord with all her heart and sacrificed her life for her family embodying the true testament of a mother. She was full of life and enjoyed cooking for her family. Betty was a friend and colleague to many; continued working and loving her work up until her last days. Betty was the loving mother of Carolyn Eide Ruud, Olaf Roger Eide, Wayne Eide, Marion Eide Vasquez, Kevin Eide, Keith Eide, loving grandmother to 30 grandchildren, loving great- grandmother to 40 great–grandchildren, and loving sister to Cindi Getty Burton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roger Carl Getty and Verna Groce, her first husband Olaf Eide, her second husband Louis Ruda, and her siblings Marion Getty Marth and Carl Roger Getty. A visitation is scheduled for Saturday February 16, 2013 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm with a funeral service commencing at 1:00pm at Gages Lake Bible Church 18788 W Gages Lake Road Gages Lake, IL 60030. Interment will be held privately at Camp Butler in Springfield.   2. Even though we haven’t seen you for awhile you have always been in our hearts. We remember all the times we got together when we where growing up. The best times of our lives. The memories we have of you will always make us smile. We miss you very much.
